We often say to ourselves and others, "hey no one's perfect", just before making an attempt to achieve perfection. I've learned something about myself over the years. When I'm attempting to learn a new craft, I completely engulf myself into it. I need to know it's history, who's made history in doing it best, and how I can achieve that persons level of success. My expectations are totally delusional at times. I got a hankering to learn how to play the guitar and envisioned myself playing the instrument effortlessly. Well that obsession to perfect a craft that I knew absolutely nothing about lasted for two days before I found myself selling it to a pawnshop.
For those individuals like me who may hide behind the guise of not wanting to be perfect, actually be okay with it. You're not alone, trust me.
